I Ching

This class introduces students to the practice of the I Ching for self-cultivation. The I Ching system was created by the ancients from their careful observations of nature. We “moderns” can use the sixty-four hexagrams found in the I Ching as a predictive tool to enhance our lives and reconcile our spiritual and physical selves.

When you consult the I Ching, the hexagram gives the general background of the situation, while the lines indicate the correct way to handle the specific circumstance.

The Book of Changes

We will be utilizing the text The Book of Changes and the Unchanging Truth published and translated by Hua-Ching Ni. This masterful translation is popular throughout the world.
