The Effects of Tai Chi on the Renal and Cardiac Functions of Patients with Chronic Kidney and Cardiovascular Diseases

Outcomes: Tai Chi training can improve the renal and cardiac functions through promotion of blood lipid metabolism, and especially HDL elevation. Consequently, Tai Chi appears to be an effective exercise for preventing the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and cardiovascular disease (CVD).
