Professor Arnold TayamWith over 30 years of experience, Professor Arnold E. Tayam holds a Doctorate in Medical Qigong and offers private clinic sessions using Medical Qigong and Chinese Bodywork practices. The practices are based on Chinese Energetic Modalities, which affect the energy in unique ways and are designed to work in harmony with each other or can be individually applied.

what is medical qigong?

Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on Ancient Chinese energetic medical theory that holds that humans are a complex energy body comprised of an intricate network of energy pathways, or channel. There are twelve main organ meridians, channels, and eight extraordinary vessels in which there are over 360 points that are attributed to individual functions and benefits.

Medical Qigong is one of the five main branches, or clinic modalities, of Traditional Chinese Medicine; the others being acupuncture, herbs, nutrition and body work.

Each of these branches are applied utilizing special techniques and methods and are complete comprehensive approaches. At The Longevity Center, our focus is on Chinese Medical Qigong.

Regardless of the modality, all of these approaches utilize the same fundamental Chinese Medical model.
