Medical Qigong for Cancer Supportive Care

In this class, students will learn select practices extracted directly from a special Medical Qigong series for Cancer Supportive Care patients that Dr. Tayam designed, implemented and taught for Stanford SCSP.

This program is designed to relieve many of the symptoms related to cancer.

Medical Qigong is a branch of Chinese Medicine based on the same model as acupuncture. These techniques are simple to learn and utilize a combination of creative visualization along with gentle rhythmic movements, still postures and breathing techniques.
